Four days after Prince Charles’ Clarence House announced Prince Harry and ‘s royal engagement, the couple stepped out for first joint royal engagement in Nottingham on Friday, December 1. The bride-to-be was seen in good spirits while attending a Terrence Higgins Trust World AIDS Day charity fair alongside her future royal husband.

Meghan once again created a buzz with her chic style after she amazed people with her look, consisting of a white trench coat and nude heels, during Monday, November 27 at Kensington Palace. This time, Meghan kept the chill at bay with Canadian brand Mackage’s full-length cashmere mix double-breasted coat in navy. She paired it with a black turtleneck bodysuit from Wolford and a beige-chino style skirt from Joshep.

Styled by her best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney, the former “” actress completed her look with a burgundy tote bag from a Scottish luxury label, Strathberry. She also accesorized with Kurt Geiger’s over-the-knee boots. Harry, meanwhile, opted for a color-coordinated long coat and beige scarf. He paired the look with a blue blazer over a white shirt, black pants and a blue belt.

The pair were welcomed by overjoyed crowd, who waved both U.S. and U.K. flags. Meghan later walked her way to the fans further down the street, greeting them and taking flowers they gave. She also could be seen happily accepting a letter from a fan.

At one point, a fan shouted at Harry, asking, “How does it feel being a ginger with Meghan?” Upon hearing the question, the prince threw a smile and replied, “It’s great, isn’t it?” adding that it’s “unbelievable.”

At the event, the pair met representatives from local organizations that support people living with HIV/AIDS, and try to end the stigma associated with the disease. Later, the newly-engaged couple, who will wed in May 2018, visited Nottingham Academy to see the work of We Are Full Effect – a programme established by Prince Harry through The Royal Foundation to prevent young people from getting involved in crime.

The couple also met Chantelle Stefanovic, who joined Harry at the Obama Foundation summit in Chicago last month. Chantelle later introduced Prince Harry and his beautiful fiancee “to some of the young women she mentors,” before the duo dropped in the organization’s kickboxing session.

Harry and Meghan then watched students perform a Hip-Opera and later met the cast on stage. The students gave Meghan a posy before she and Harry left the school.
